About Eureka Soap Factory

We originally opened Eureka Old Glass & Antiques five years ago, in Eureka, California. My husband and I both enjoyed collecting antiques and having a boutique store. We have been antique collectors for fourteen years. We always had a keen interest and appreciation for all kinds of beautiful antiques.

So in 2003 we decided to become antique, boutique dealers. That way we could be around antiques all the time. But we both always had an appreciation for fine fragrances too. Coming back from one of our many buying trips from San Francisco, on a moonlit night, I was inspired to give our new fragrance company a name.

We named the company Moonlight Fragrances. And all the soap products would be made by Eureka Soap Factory. We have a 4100 square foot commercial building that we have divided to make room for both businesses. One would be, of course, Eureka Old Glass & Antiques and the other would be Eureka Soap Factory. We truly love doing soaps. It is a labor of love. We are committed to bringing to you our customers the most beautiful soaps we can make. We have given great attention to the quality of our ingredients.
